De plant krijgt prachtige, lange bloemaren met klokvormige bloemen in wit en roze. Laat eventueel enkele bloemen staan als u wilt dat de plant zichzelf uitzaait. Let op: Vingerhoedskruid is giftig bij inname. Houd de plant daarom buiten bereik van kleine kinderen en huisdieren. Draag bij voorkeur handschoenen bij het snoeien of verplaatsen van de plant.
