Deze TPM 2.0-beveiligingsmodule voegt een hardwarematige encryptiechip toe aan je pc. De module wordt aangesloten op de 12-pins LPC-aansluiting van het moederbord en werkt met een eigen, onafhankelijke TPM-processor. Die processor slaat coderingssleutels veilig op, zodat versleutelde gegevens beschermd blijven tegen ongeoorloofde toegang.De module gebruikt een standaard pc-architectuur. Een deel van het systeemgeheugen wordt door het systeem gereserveerd, waardoor het beschikbare geheugen iets kleiner kan zijn dan de opgegeven capaciteit.TPM-modules zijn geschikt voor moederborden die een 12-pins LPC-aansluiting ondersteunen. Op sommige moederborden moet de TPM-optie in de BIOS worden ingeschakeld, en soms is een BIOS-update nodig. Controleer daarom vóór aankoop de compatibiliteit met jouw moederbord.De module is eenvoudig te gebruiken. Er zijn geen ingewikkelde procedures nodig en de module kan direct na installatie worden gebruikt.
