This a single socket kit being sold that requires the crows foot to be welded on the end for use in torquing. There is no need to remove your rod end or clevis with this redesigned socket. This socket is cut from DOM steel, is ~4" long and designed to remove/replace the four point nut from the back of your hydroboost in order to change mounting plates or brackets. It will fit every OEM Bendix/Bosch hydroboost and it is the only socket that will fit the custom built mounts I sell in other listings or the custom mount kits that I sell in other listings. This socket can be used on hydroboost that have the brake rod staked to unit as it permits the rod to protrude through the end of the socket. The nut size is 1 15/16 and the socket can't have an outside dimension greater than 2 1/4" in order to be able to fit into the recess of many hydroboost angled mounting plates. Just be sure you can re-torque it to the OEM specs of 110 ft/lbs., over torqueing can result in a cracked nut. Note: These sockets are machined to fit the four point nut only. Your nut should have a retaining clip you will need to remove to install the socket. In every case the socket has been test fit to a new nut prior to shipping but it may be a little on the tight side. You may want to lightly tap the socket on the nut to ensure it is fully on the nut until the socket wears in. This socket was not designed for use with a pipe wrench, neither was any other part of your vehicle. If you stay within the torque values the socket will last quite a long time, I use one every day. If you exceed the torque values or don't have the socket fully on the nut and/or square on the nut you will shorten the life of this non-hardened socket.
