Allows the attachment of a standard 1/2 (13 mm) garden hose in conjunction with a Snap-On hose connector. These fittings are Hoselock compatible. The tap also acts as a useful emergency safety valve, or for precise flow control. These items are supplied fully assembled and not in kit form. It will fit most standard IBC containers in the UK and Europe where the buttress thread is a coarse S60X6 thread. An S60X6 Buttress thread measures 60mm from thread tip to thread tip and has a 6mm pitch (distance between the threads). If your tank buttress is not an S60X6 (about 20% are not), you can purchase a buttress thread converter which will convert the thread to the S60X6 you will need.
