Monaural Earhook Full Duplex Intercom

A purpose-built communication solution for sports referees, comprising a V6C Bluetooth intercom unit and a single-ear earhook headset. The headset’s curved earhook provides passive retention without pressure points, ideal for repeated match-day use. The intercom unit is built around Bluetooth 3.0 (2.4 GHz), supporting full duplex operation with up to six linked devices — any two able to converse simultaneously. Battery life is rated at 8 hours talk time and 100 hours standby using its integrated 550 mAh lithium polymer cell. Charging requires ~3 hours via USB; power input accepts global AC voltages (110–240 V), with regulated DC 5 V output. DSP algorithms reduce wind interference, and audio remains intelligible at speeds up to 120 km/h — verified under real-field motion testing. The system’s 1200-metre line-of-sight range covers standard football pitches end-to-end, including overlap into technical areas and dugouts.
