Before using it, fill the calabash with Maté leaves to 3/4, then add hot water. Leave the calabash filled with hot water to stand overnight, then empty it by gently scraping the inside to remove any residue. Use: 1. Heat water (between 70°C and 80°C). 2. Fill the calabash 2/3 full with mate. 3. Make a pile on the side of the gourd. 4. Place the bombilla on the hollow side of the gourd. 5. Pour the hot water along the filter straw to infuse the mate.
