Conversely, insufficient exposure can hinder the molding process.Step C: Drain and Prepare the TrayCarefully remove the tray from the water and allow it to drain for a second to get rid of excess water.Once the tray has become pliable, proceed to the next step.Step D: Mold the TrayPlace the softened tray in your mouth and shape it around your teeth.Use your fingers to apply pressure to both the inner and outer sides of your teeth, ensuring the tray fits snugly and securely.Step E: Remove and Adjust the TrayAfter achieving a proper fit, remove the tray from your mouth.Repeat the process for the lower tray.Cut off the handle and trim the formed tray at the gum line to remove any excess material and to clean off any gel that may have leaked onto the gums.Step F: Apply Gel and Use the TrayApply a tooth whitening or remineralizing gel as needed.Place the dental tray with the gel onto your teeth for the recommended duration for optimal results.
