Note: You may find TWO of this connector on your bike. In this case, try both connectors, but only one of them will supply data to this gear indicator. It will not harm your bike if you connect the gear indicator to the wrong plug first. 3. Detach the cover (cap) from the plug and connect the gear indicator plug. 4. Route the cable to the mounting location along the frame. Peel the green plastic off from the back of the unit, and mount the display. 5. Secure the cable with the cable ties supplied, ensuring that the steering movement is not impaired by the cable. Troubleshooting: You may find TWO semi-transparent connectors on the bike with a removable cap or dummy plug.Try the second one if the unit does not work from the first one.Disconnect the Gear Indicator connector and check whether the pins are broken
