The back of the Water Barrier Strip has adhesive for temporary assistance only. To properly secure and seal the strip, silicone sealant (glass glue) must be applied to both sides and ends of the strip. 2. Clean and dry the surface thoroughly before application. Ensure all dust and moisture are removed. 3. Determine the desired placement and mark the position with a pen. 4. Peel off the protective liner from the adhesive side and place the strip along the marked line. 5. Apply silicone sealant along the edges where the strip meets the wall and floor to ensure a secure, watertight seal. 6. For best results, apply silicone sealant to both sides of the strip and allow it to cure for approximately 24 hours.
