This power meter is designed for ADI's AD8317 chip and used for RF signal power detection. Detection frequency range is 1MHz to 10GHz, capable of detecting RF signals with power from -55dBm to 0dBm, and converting the RF signal into a DC voltage output. The greater the RF signal amplitude or power, the higher the output voltage. The output voltage is proportional to the logarithm of the input signal amplitude, providing a dynamic range expansion of 55dB. Commonly used in RF signal detection, signal power measurement, and environmental field strength detection. It can also serve as a component in automatic gain control and automatic level control systems.
