Mixed CURRANT Pack
\nA mixed pack containing Red, Black and White currants.
\nAccording to research carried out in recent years eating berry fruits such as currants can have health benefits.
\nThe fruit can be made into pies, cordials and jams or can be eaten fresh from the bush.
\nIt can also be frozen or dried and stored for later use.
\nCurrants prefers a site in full sun but should be sheltered from cold winds and late frosts.
\nThey thrive in a well-drained moisture retentive soil but will tolerate almost any (but not waterlogged) soil type.
\nWhen planting in the soil ensure the plants are 1.5m apart with 2m between the rows, however, currant bushes can also be grown successfully in containers.
\nHarvest time is June and July.
\nThis pack was carefully selected to give a supply of currants for the entire season.
