Made with real polished ebony and a machined brass ferrule with holding pin, this 1.2mm edger, for thicker leather, is among the highest quality tools available in the market today. With a tempered, Japanese blade honed to perfection, and guaranteed to be sharp straight from the moment you use it, this premium tool will not disappoint.This Leather Edge Beveler will round off edges and trim down frizzy ends of your leather, giving it a smoothness you can see and feel. Best used for leather 2mm (6oz) to 3mm (8oz) in thickness.Approximate Dimensions & Product Data:• Handle (Ebony)• Ferrule (Machined brass)• Blade (high carbon steel)• Blade Width: 1.2mmTo use this Edge Beveler, first, use a damp cloth and rub it on the leather edge, before allowing your leather to dry. This will soften the leather and will help in cutting the leather smoothly. Then, hold the handle firmly with one hand and the leather with the other to keep it from moving while bevelling. At about a 45 degree angle from the surface, place the tool at the edge of the leather then run the tool along the edge (away from your body). Repeat until the edge is fully beveled.Please note: The blade edge is sharp, keep away from reach of children.
