This small piezoelectric module can collect energy from mechanical stress and solar sources. Where there is a bridge, piezoelectric elements (PZ1 and PZ2) can be connected to directly input (VIN) into a DC source. The voltage across the two bridges is less than 20 volts. Additionally, this board can be used alone as a buck regulator. When the LTC3588 enters a sleep state, the quiescent current input and output is very low. The buck regulator automatically resumes normal operation when needed.
