This is a single outlet washer pump designed specifically for windshield cleaning applications. The washer pump is typically located at the bottom of the washer bottle, often positioned very low on the vehicle. Access to the washer pump may require partially removing the inner wheel arch or bumper trim. The pump is push-fitted into the washer bottle and the washer pipes should also be push-fitted. Some models may include a clip for release. If the pipes are difficult to remove, applying heat with a hair dryer can assist in removal. Avoid running the washer pump dry as this may lead to failure. It is recommended to fill the washer reservoir with more windshield washer fluid than required to reduce the risk of freezing. Do not use antifreeze in the washer bottle. Always add windshield washer fluid first, then top up with water.
