Fits for both guitarists and beginners. PRE AMP: R-18 becomes a Distortion pedal when it connects to guitar amp's Input mode. POWER AMP: R-18 becomes a preamp pedal when it connects to power amp mode. You need to connect it to guitar amp's Return and make the pedal as amp's preamp. This connection brings out the sound of the pedal, without tone coloration. CAB SIM: For connecting to the full-range amps, such as PA system with -range playback capability, if it's in use when not connected to the guitar amp, this mode simulates the tone of pedals connected with amps, convenient for performance or recording.
