Use traditional liquid test tools to test swimming pool water or hot spring water; 2. Record chlorine readings as backup (1.5 PPM); 3.CheckPH does not need to be adjusted. Find tester set point : A. Place the 1.5V AA battery (positive side up) into the battery compartment of the handle. B. Hold the tester in one hand and the test stick in the other. C. Insert the cleaned metal rod into the water until the black position. D. Gently stir the water with a metal rod. E. When the metal rod remains in the water, turn the button on the front of the watch in the CL direction until it can no longer move. Then slowly turn it to the right until the pointer points to the pointer location. Results of traditional liquid testers F. Remove the test rod from the water, being careful not to move the knob. The pointer slides to the right and stops at the letter between A and E. This letter is the adjustment point. PLEASE NOTE: The meter must be set to "set point" before each chlorine test. Chlorine content test: The recommended chlorine level for pool water or is 1.2 to 1.7 ppm 1. Set the pointer to the "adjustment point" position. 2. Hold the tester in one hand and the test rod in the other hand, insert the metal rod into the water to the black position, and read the reading after the pointer stops swinging. 3. Leave the test stick in the water and follow the instructions to perform the pH test. Test pH: The recommended chlorine level for swimming pool water or spa is 7.2 to 7.8 1. With the test stick in water, turn the knob in the direction of pH until you hear a beep (battery must be removed to read pH). 2. After the pointer stops moving, read the pH value. 3. Gently dry the test stick, insert it into the slot next to the tester and store it. Storage method: In order to prolong the life of the PC-101 pool tester and to ensure accurate measurement, Caution: 1. When not in use, please turn the knob to the off position (turn it in the PH direction until it can't move). 2. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. 3. Do not immerse the test stick in any liquid other than pool water and spa water. 4. Regularly check whether the battery power is sufficient - the tester uses "AA" 1.5 V alkaline batteries
