It is the most advanced gear position indicator on the market today. This product will fit all fuel injected (fi) suzuki motorcycles that have onboard diagnostic system connector. This connector is referred to as "coupler select switch mode" in the suzuki manuals. Unlike other gear indicators available for your bike, this product plugs into the diagnostic connector. Makes the installation very simple. The unit reads data directly from the ECM, offering faster and more reliable readings than competitive products. The unit is fully automatic, there are no buttons and no "programming wire", the display will indicate all gears correctly when the ignition is on, the side stand is up and the engine stop switch is in the run position. Installation: Find the white 6-pole male diagnostic connector, usually near the ecm box.
