Programmable IP65 Hose Timer

This programmable hose timer has dimensions of 12.5 x 8.5 x 6.5 cm and weighs 320 g, supporting up to 12 L/min flow at 0.1–0.8 MPa pressure. It operates on 4 AA batteries (not included) and includes a digital display with intuitive button navigation. The unit performs an automatic self-test upon battery insertion, confirming valve function before first use. Built with UV-stabilised ABS housing and IP65-rated sealing, it withstands prolonged outdoor exposure in UK conditions. The internal solenoid valve ensures accurate open/close timing with minimal current draw. It connects directly to standard 3/4" GHT outlets and is compatible with rotary sprinklers, misting sprayers, and 16 mm drip lines — suitable for lawns, patio pots, hanging baskets, and vegetable rows. Its compact form factor enables flexible placement near taps, under benches, or inside tool sheds. Use it for spring turf conditioning: schedule short morning bursts to encourage deep rooting without runoff. On balconies, automate watering of tomatoes, basil, or ferns in containers — avoiding drying out during work hours or holidays. For kitchen gardens, pair with drip emitters to maintain even soil moisture across salad greens or root crops, adjusting frequency as summer heat increases or autumn rains begin.
